Bilingual Airline Customer Service Representative for Ticket Counter and Ramp (part time)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: If you are looking for a part-time seasonal job, this job may be for you, BILINGUAL AIRLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE FOR TICKET COUNTER – responsible for passenger check-in at the ticket counter, issuing boarding passes, assisting passengers with mobility equipment, checking baggage, and answering inquiries. RAMP AGENT – responsible for loading and unloading bags, aircraft cleaning and marshalling. Other ramp duties as required. To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age, able to lift 60 pounds routinely, and able to work late evenings, weekends and holidays. Position will remain open until filled. Successful applicant must be able to pass security background investigation, physical, drug/alcohol screening test and in-house training. Current starting range: $9.50 per hour.
Airport Maintenance Worker
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Valley International Airport is looking for an individual to fill a position in its Maintenance department. An employee in this class performs semi-skilled to skilled manual work in construction, maintenance, landscaping, and service activities. May also perform duties in a lead worker role and operate light to heavy motorized equipment. The successful applicant will perform some advanced laboring tasks requiring skills or special knowledge acquired through training or work experience. Experience in general laboring work with some experience in the operation of assigned equipment and sufficient education to be able to read and write is desirable. Employee may be required to work weekends, occasional overtime, and be available for call back. Successful applicant must be able to pass security background investigation and drug screening test. Starting pay rate: $12.08/hour including a benefit package. Position shall remain open until filled.
Chief of Public Saftey
Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (TCLEOSE) police officer certification, CPR/ADE certified, Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Position open until filled.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to speak some Spanish. Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to independently make ethical decisions that conform to applicable laws, departmental policies, and other regulations with and without supervisory input, ability to maintain composure and demonstrate critical decision-making abilities under adverse and life-threatening conditions, ability to immediately comprehend and execute orders in emergency situations, 20/20 vision with correction.
Salary range $59K – $89K, depending on experience. Schedule may include some weekends, nights and holidays. Comprehensive benefit package.
