David C. Garza is a partner with Garza & Garza, Attorneys in Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Garza was a founding director of the Texas Lyceum Association and the Historic Brownsville Museum. He graduated from St. Edwards University in Austin with highest honors and went on to receive his law degree with honors from the University of Texas School of Law. Mr. Garza has been involved in many civic activities in Brownsville. He served as Chairman of the United Way and has served on bank boards in Brownsville. Mr. Garza was a member of and served as vice-chair of the Texas Racing Commission. He presently serves on the Texas Commission on the Arts. He has also been active with the Catholic Church, having served as president or officer of several organizations.
Mr. Garza was appointed to serve on the Harlingen Airport Board by Mayor Chris Boswell in June 2008 and his term will expire March 2013.
